Learning objectives
The student will be able to: fast and easy upgrade of the acquired knowledge; ability to analyze and synthesize; ability to obtain and analyze the information; having the competence in general engineering disciplines such as thermodynamics, basics of mechanical and electrical engineering, technology of materials; sublimation of knowledge in the field of mining, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, as system sciences for the purposes of the mechanical maintenance, exploitation and design of mining mechanization; the idea of economical use of natural resources is inherently based, in accordance with the principles of sustainable development.
Learning outcomes
The students acquire the knowledge to be able to make the right choice of materials for the production of the certain construction parts, equipment and machines for mining. Due to insufficient knowledge of the material, in practice it is very often possible to cause failures, breakage, irrational usage, etc.
Content
1.Увод: Задатак технологије материјала, материјали у рударству, особине и подјела. 2.Физичко-механичке и технолошке особине материјала. 3.Добијање сировог гвожђа, добијање челика. 4.Тешки метали и лаки метали. 5.Обрада метала и легура. 6.Производња портланд цемента. 7. Ваздушна везива – креч и гипс. 8.Бетон и агрегат за справљање бетона. 9.Специјални поступци уградње бетона. 10.Експлозиви : дефиниција, подјела,рударски експлозији . 11.Дефлагрантни и бризантни експлозији. 12.Полимери и пластичне масе од значаја за рударство. 13.Горива, врсте и особине. 14.Мазива.Улога, задаци и подјела мазива. 15. Вода у индустрији.
Teaching Methods
Teaching is performed through the theoretical lectures, laboratory and field work, seminar work and colloquiums / - tests. Also for students are provided as an additional form of learning and consultation with the teacher and assistant.

Evaluation and grading
Attendance and activity in classes, writing a seminar paper, test 1 and test 2 and taking the final exam.
Specific remarks
Students are required to attend to the classes, complete exercises, pass the colloquia and complete the final exam.
