Visit to Ca’ Foscari University of Venice within the Erasmus+ program

Within the Erasmus+ exchange program, the Head of the International and Inter-University Cooperation Office at the University of Banja Luka, M.Sc. Đorđe Kenjalo, visited the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice in the period from 14 to 18 April 2025.

During the stay, he met with representatives of several university offices, including the Office for projects, Office for mobility, as well as offices for inclusion, enrollment, student’ exchange, and innovative teaching.

In the meeting with representatives of the Office for projects, they discussed the successful cooperation within two Erasmus+ projects of the KA171 category, and presented the internal procedures for application to new projects. Special attention was paid to the possibilities of continuing cooperation through new projects of the Key Action 2.

With representatives of the Office for mobility, he talked about the realization of the exchange of students and staff, they also exchanged good practices in relation to organizing incoming exchanges, and the possibilities of improving the academic offer in the English language.

They also discussed the experiences and activities within the EUTOPIA alliance, where Ca’ Foscari University is a member, and the Across alliance, where the University of Banja Luka is a member.

The Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, established in 1868, is the largest university in this city. It has eight departments and about 23.000 students, and is primarily oriented to the fields of economics, business, humanities, and contemporary languages.
