A workshop “Interdisciplinarity at the University of Banja Luka”

The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Banja Luka hosted a workshop titled “Interdisciplinarity at the University of Banja Luka” on 2 April 2025.

The goal of the workshop within the project "Enhancing Scientific Capacities for Energy Poverty (ENPOWER)" was to analyze the possibility of improvement of interdisciplinarity at the University of Banja Luka through direct talks and discussion, and the promotion of good practices. During the event, a particular accent was placed on a promotion of the interdisciplinarity concept to the academic community. 

The coordinator of the project “ENPOWER”, Prof. Petar Gvero, PhD, presented the project and the consortium of partners included in its realization. Professor Francesca Spigarelli, PhD, of the University of Macerata, and Prof. Marta Kalvig Andersson, PhD, of the Norway University of Science and Technology in Trondheim, were among the speakers.

The workshop was attended by the Vice-Rector for Teaching Process, Students’ Issues and Quality at the University of Banja Luka, Prof. Milica Balaban, PhD, Chairman of the Steering Board of the University of Banja Luka, Prof. Biljana Antunović, PhD, the Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Prof. Darko Knežević, PhD, as well his Vice-Deans, Prof. Milan Kotur, PhD, and Prof. Bojan Knežević, PhD, along with many professors and assistants from different faculties of the UNIBL.
