The Fair “Banja Luka Expo 2025” on the University Campus

The International Business Fair “Banja Luka Expo 2025”, featuring about 300 exhibitors from various fields of economy and business, was formally opened on 18 March 2025 in the University Campus. 

The formal opening was held at the Students’ Cultural Center of the University of Banja Luka, where the Rector, prof. Radoslav Gajanin, PhD, addressed the audience. He welcomed the participants and stressed the importance of this event for the development of the economy.

“I wish you to realize good results and make new partnerships with other companies at this fair”. The rector also mentioned that the University of Banja Luka is a reliable partner in numerous projects and activities.

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska, Radovan Višković, said this manifestation is an excellent opportunity to create business contacts and develop economic cooperation. 

“Our goal is for this Fair to become the most significant one in the Republic of Srpska and competitive with fairs that have long tradition”, said Višković.

The Minister of Economics and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Srpska, Vojin Mitrović, pointed out that the Fair is a platform for recognition of new business opportunities. 

“This event gathers businesses and gives opportunity to cooperate and improve the business at a global level” added minister Mitrović.

The Fair hosts exhibitors from various industrial branches, such as mechanical engineering, civil engineering, metallurgy, energetics, electrical industry, chemical industry, car industry, robotics, IT sector, architecture and design.

The Fair's opening hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the first three days, and on the last day, March 21st, they will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The organizers are Banja Luka companies “RS Consulting & Trade” and “Elite Fair”, with the support from the Republic of Srpska Government, the Ministry of Economics and Entrepreneurship, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations in the BiH Council of Ministers, BiH Foreign Trade Chamber, and the Banja Luka City, strongly supported by the University of Banja Luka. The general sponsor of the Fair is the president of the Republic of Srpska, Milorad Dodik.

The goal of this prestigious event is to connect the most prominent economic subjects in the Republic of Srpska and BiH, enable an exchange of ideas and experiences, and offer a chance for companies to present their products and services to a wider public, which might contribute to higher visibility and development of business partnerships.
