UNIBL Charter handed to Ambassador Berjan

Rector of the University of Banja Luka, Prof. Radoslav Gajanin, PhD, handed the Charter of the University to Bosnia and Herzegovina Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China, Prof. Siniša Berjan, PhD, on 4 February 2025.

The Charter was awarded to Ambassador Berjan on the occasion of the 49^th anniversary of successful work and development of the University of Banja Luka, for merits and exceptional contributions to the development of our higher education institution.

Through his personal engagement, Prof. Berjan helped the improvement of scientific and technical cooperation between the scientific institutions of the Republic of Srpska and China.

Thanks to the engagement of the Ambassador, Prof. Siniša Berjan, PhD, an Agreement was signed between the University of Banja Luka and the University of Lanzhou from China. The Agreement foresees a wide spectrum of cooperating in teaching and research activities, creating possibilities for the exchange of students and implementation of joint research projects. Ambassador Berjan also participated in mitigation by establishing several bilateral contacts with companies and universities from China.

The Dean of the Medical faculty of the University of Banja Luka, Prof. Ranko Škrbić, PhD, also participated in today’s meeting where intensifying cooperation with our Chinese partners was discussed.
