Prestigious Awards of the Rector’s Conference Presented

At the second session of the Rector’s Conference/Assembly, held on 25 February 2025 at the premises of the "Džemal Bijedić" University in Mostar, prestigious awards (the Golden Crest and plaques) were presented as the highest honours conferred by the Rector’s Conference / Rector’s Assembly for outstanding contributions to the development of universities through distinguished work in science, teaching, and industry, as well as for enhancing the reputation of universities.

The awards were presented by the Chair of the Conference and Rector of the "Džemal Bijedić" University, Prof. Alena Huseinbegović, PhD. The Golden Crest of the Rector’s Conference/Rector’s Assembly was awarded to the Rector of the University of Banja Luka, Prof. Radoslav Gajanin, PhD, and was received on his behalf by the Vice-Rector for Scientific Research and Development, Prof. Aleksandar Ostojić, PhD. 

The Golden Crest was also awarded to the Rector of the University of Mostar, Prof. Zoran Tomić, PhD, the Rector of the University of Tuzla, Prof. Nermina Hadžigrahić, PhD, and the Vice-Rectors of the University of Bihać, Prof. Fadil Islamović, PhD, and Prof. Nezvet Velagić, PhD.

Recipients of plaques include the retired professor of the University of Banja Luka, Prof. Nikola Mojović, PhD, and the Vice-Rectors of the University of Mostar, Prof. Sanja Bijakšić, PhD, and Prof. Zdenko Klepić, PhD, as well as Prof. Adnan Velagić, PhD, from "Džemal Bijedić" University, Prof. Milenko Pikula, PhD, from the University of East Sarajevo, Prof. Belma Pojskić, PhD, from the University of Zenica, and retired professor of the University of Tuzla, Sadik Latifagić, PhD.
