Meeting with the Head of the UNICEF office in BiH

The Rector of the University of Banja Luka, Prof. Radoslav Gajanin, PhD, and the Head of the UNICEF office in BiH, Marc Lucet, talked on 12 February 2025 about strengthening of cooperation between the two institutions, with particular emphasis on projects in the field of education.

The interlocutors pointed out that the so-far cooperation has been very successful, but there is significant space for further improvement. In that context, they particularly emphasized the significance of the cooperation with the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Banja Luka, with important programs already realized. Both parties also expressed readiness to continue and expand the cooperation, intending to create more quality education prospects and strengthen the academic community in accordance with contemporary trends and needs of society. 

The meeting in the Rectorate was also attended by the Vice-Rector for human and material resources, Prof. Dalibor Kesić, PhD, and UNICEF representatives – manager of the health and nutrition program Dr Jela Aćimović, manager of the social policy program Selma Kazić, and expert associate for the youth, Amila Madžak.
