Magazine „Društvo i politikaˮ (Society and Politics) in ERIH PLUS base

The magazine „Društvo i politikaˮ issued by the Faculty of Political Sciences of the Unievrsity of Banja Luka was recently indexed in the prestigious ERIH PLUS base.

According to laws and bylaws of the Ministry of Scientific-Technological Development and Higher Education of the Republic of Srpska, and the University of Banja Luka, the magazine acquired conditions to be categorized as prominent scientific magazine with international relevance. 

This step is a significant recognition for the editorial board of the magazine „Društvo i politikaˮ (Society and Politics) primarily due to displayed efforts in promoting the scientific excellence and continuous improvement of the visibility of scientific works in the field of social and humanistic sciences.

The aim of this magazine, which comes out once a year, is to encourage innovative research in the field of social and humanistic sciences, with an emphasis on interdisciplinary dialogue and cooperation. In that context, the magazine encloses a wide spectrum of disciplines, including Sociology, Social policy, Social work, International relations, Media studies, Political systems, Journalism, Public relations, Law, Philosophy, History, Culture studies, and other similar fields within these sciences. 

ERIH PLUS is a referent database of scientific magazines in the field of social and humanistic sciences. This database, established by the European Scientific Foundation, initially included only magazines of humanistic sciences, and at that time it was called ERIH, while in 2014 it was expanded to social sciences and renamed to ERIH PLUS. The Norwegian Center for research data then took over the management of the database.
