Pro. Stevo Borojević, PhD, on a study visit to China
University of Banja LukaGeneralStevo Borojević, PhD, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Banja Luka, is on a study visit to the Tianjin University of Technology and Education.
The visit is taking place from 20 to 30 November 2024, and was organised as part of the cooperation between the University of Banja Luka and the Tianjin University of Technology and Education, facilitated by the Confucius Institute.
It includes participation with a paper at the Vocational Education Conference, one of the topics of which was “Requirements and Opportunities for Implementing Vocational Education in the Republic of Srpska.”
During his stay in Tianjin, Prof. Borojević, PhD, also visited the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Tianjin University of Technology and Education, as well as companies in the field of production engineering.
One of the key objectives of the visit is to extend cooperation between the two universities through staff and student exchange, the implementation of research activities, and participation in conferences.
On a side note, the Agreement on the Establishment of the Centre for Innovative Engineering Practice Projects at the University of Banja Luka was signed on 29 June this year, focused on innovative technologies in the field of engineering sciences and their application in student education.
