Asst. Prof. Ljiljana Stević at the Largest Conference on China in Europe

Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Philology of the University of Banja Luka Ljiljana Stević, PhD, participated in the Fourth International Academic Conference “Harvesting the Winds of Change: China and Global Actors”, within the Dialogues on China, in Belgrade.

Ljiljana Stević, PhD, took part in the tenth panel and presented the paper “Military to Military Diplomacy and Cooperation Between China and Serbia: Genesis and Future Prospects'', co-authored with Slobodan Popović, PhD, a scientific researcher at the Institute of International Politics and Economy.

This conference was organized on 10 and 11 October 2024 by the Institute of International Politics and Economy in Belgrade and the Institute of European Studies of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The conference is considered one of the largest in Europe on the topic of China, with 80 scientists from 27 countries participating in 11 different panels, and the event gathered ambassadors from as many as 16 countries, as well as high-level delegations from the People's Republic of China.

As a result of the conference, the plan is to publish proceedings in December this year, in which 53 scientific papers will be published in two volumes.
