University of Banja Luka at the 34 th EAIE Conference

The University of Banja Luka presented itself at the 34th annual conference of the European Association for International Education (EAIE), which was held in Toulouse, France, from 17 to 20 September 2024.

It is the largest European event in the field of international higher education, which this year gathered over 7,300 participants and more than 200 exhibitors. On behalf of the University of Banja Luka, it was attended by the head of the Office for International and Interuniversity
Cooperation Đorđe Kenjalo.

This year, the conference was held under the slogan "En Route" and was focused on the topics of digital technologies, sustainability and new methods to support the global higher education community.

Representatives of universities from the Republic of Srpska, i.e., Bosnia and Herzegovina, participated in the conference with the support of the European ommission. In this regard, the European Commission organized three special sessions focused on the area of ​​the Western
Balkans, which supported networking and the establishment of new contacts with university representatives from this part of Europe.

The exhibition within the conference was an opportunity to meet representatives of potential partner institutions, as well as to maintain contact and strengthen ooperation with existing partners.

EAIE was founded in 1989 and is a European centre for expertise, networking and resources in the internationalization of higher education.
