Reception for American Scholarship Holders

On 26 September 2024, Vice-Rector for International and Interuniversity Cooperation of the University of Banja Luka Prof. Kristina Pantelić Babić, PhD, met with the American scholarship holders Olivia Olson and Nathan Pinson, who will spend the next year at our higher education institution under an exchange programme.

Nathan Pinson is the American English Program Scholarship holder, while Olson is a Fulbright Scholarship holder.

Nathan Pinson has extensive experience in teaching English. His aim is to work on guidelines for sustainable development, to take part in the work of the American Corner and to help students and teaching staff with academic writing. Olivia Olson completed her undergraduate studies in the fields of international relations and anthropology. She is currently attending master`s studies
in the field of international relations. Her aim is to give students the opportunity to have a conversation in English with a native speaker.

The meeting was also attended by the representative of the Embassy of the United States of America in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Elizabeta Delić, and the representative of the Office of the Embassy of the United States of America in Banja Luka, Dragan Kesić. At the meeting, other scholarship opportunities for students and staff were also discussed, as well as cooperation between the University of Banja Luka and higher education institutions in the United States of America.
