UNIBL received Erasmus charter for high education

The European Commission awarded the University of Banja Luka (UNIBL) the Erasmus Charter for High Education (ECHE) based on a successful project application.

With the Erasmus Charter award, the European Commission confirmed the dedication of the University of Banja Luka to the principles and values of the Erasmus + program. It also confirmed the dedication of the UNIBL to improvement of all aspects of international cooperation, and particularly activities that deal with exchange of students and staff, as well as joint education projects.

Erasmus Charter for High Education gives a general framework quality for activities of European and international cooperation a high education institution may implement within Erasmus+ program.

Some of the basic principles of the Erasmus Charter are acknowledging of the results achieved within an exchange, providing equal access, equal treatment and prohibiting discrimination of students interested in participation in international activities, i.e. providing quality services related to supporting mobility of students and staff.

Besides all that, by signing the Erasmus Charter, the University of Banja Luka expresses its readiness to work on implementing priorities of the Erasmus+ program relating to necessary steps for digitalization of mobility management, promoting ecologically acceptable practices in all programmatic activities, encouraging participation of representatives of marginalized groups, and promoting of civic engagement of participants in exchanges.
