Meeting with delegation of University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences

Rector of the Banja Luka University (UNIBL), prof. Radoslav Gajanin, PhD, met with the delegation of the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (UCASS) from Beijing led by rector, prof. Zang Zhengwen, PhD, on 10 July 2024.

Rector Gajanin stressed that UNIBL participates in numerous scientific and educational projects financed by the European Union and said that he expects a good cooperation with the UCASS in the coming period. In this meeting held in the UNIBL Rectorate, it was proposed to work jointly on the organization of summer and winter schools, where representatives of both institutions would participate. The plan is also for the staff of University of Banja Luka to take part in academic week for foreign universities, which
will be organized by the UCASS. The parties agreed there is room for cooperation in the field of staff and students exchange, as well as providing scholarships for PhD students, and for other forms of cooperation.

Delegation of UNIBL, besides rector, comprised of vice-rector for human and material resources, prof. Dalibor Kesic, PhD, deans of Faculty of Philosophy and Faculty of Economy, prof. Srdjan Dusanic, PhD and prof. Milenko Krajisnik, PhD (respectively), director of Confucius Institute at UNIBL, docent Ljiljana Stevic, PhD, and docent Nina Sajic, PhD, professor on Faculty of Political Sciences. The Chinese delegation, besides rector, also comprised of deans of Faculty of Journalism and Communicology and
Faculty of Economy, prof. Qi Yalin, PhD and prof. Zhang Tao, PhD (respectively), as well as Director of Office for international cooperation and exchange, Mr. Zeng Maofu.
