Visit Paid to a Medical Equipment Company and a Rehabilitation Center

On 11 December, the delegation of the University of Banja Luka led by Rector of the University of Banja Luka Prof. Radoslav Gajanin, PhD, visited the company Qianfang Medical Group, which deals with the production and transfer of medical equipment, particularly medical aids for children and the elderly, as well as rehabilitation equipment, in the Chinese city of Changzhou.

Rector of the University of Banja Luka met with the director of this company, Fan Tianrun, with whom he talked within the university, as well as health institutions and rehabilitation centers.

Director Fan was a member of the delegation from Shanghai that visited the University of Banja Luka in November, and on that occasion the delegation also paid a visit to the University Clinical Center of the RS. Rector Gajanin emphasized that the opportunities for cooperation are great, especially in the form of the transfer of equipment for the rehabilitation of patients.

After the official meeting, the University of Banja Luka delegation comprising, in addition to Rector Gajanin, Vice-Rector for Material and Human Resources Prof. Dalibor Kesić, PhD, Head of the Sinology Study Programme Asst. Prof. Ljiljana Stević, PhD, and teaching assistant Anja Mudrenović, MA, visited the demonstration center with equipment for the recovery of patients and athletes, medical aids for children and the elderly, as well as sensory rooms for children with autism.

Qianfang Medical Group is one of the leading companies dealing with medical equipment and technology, and apart from China, it also distributes its equipment to European markets, such as Germany and Poland.

This was the last meeting the University of Banja Luka delegation had in the several-day working visit to China.
