University of Banja Luka Charter Presented to the President of the Chamber of Commerce

On 1 December 2023, Rector of the University of Banja Luka Prof. Radoslav Gajanin, PhD, presented the University Charter to the President of the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Srpska Pero Ćorić.

The charter was awarded to the President of the Chamber of Commerce in honour of 48 years of successful work and development of the University of Banja Luka for his merits and exceptional contribution to the development of our higher education institution.

With his personal engagement and commitment, as president of the Chamber and as a member of the Steering Board of the University of Banja Luka, Ćorić influenced the improvement of cooperation between business entities and research institutions in the Republic of Srpska, especially the cooperation between the University of Banja Luka and the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Srpska. In that segment, Ćorić made a special contribution to the implementation of the 2017-2025 Development Strategy of the University of Banja Luka, and especially for Strategic Objective 4, focused on the University developing an entrepreneurial culture and being a reliable partner to the business sector.

Through the cooperation of the Chamber of Commerce and the University within the European Entrepreneurship Network of the Republic of Srpska, professors and teaching assistants of the University were able to provide active support, based on scientific knowledge, to business entities from the Republic of Srpska in connecting them with European partners.
