Roundtable on Internationalization at Universities
GeneralOn 7 December 2023, Vice-Rector for International and Inter-University Cooperation of the University of Banja Luka Prof. Kristina Pantelić Babić, PhD, participated in the roundtable on the topic "Internationalization at Universities in Bosnia and Herzegovina”.
At this event, held at the Rectorate of the University of Tuzla, experiences were shared on the process of internationalization at higher education institutions. There were talks about potential challenges on the path to joining European educational alliances, as well as the benefits of participating in them. There were also talks about the launching of joint study programmes, as well as study programmes in English. The participants emphasized the importance of regularly holding such events with the aim of creating and launching joint initiatives to create prerequisites for improving teaching and science and strengthening international cooperation at universities.
This roundtable, held under the auspices of the Embassy of France to BH and the French Institute in BH, in addition to Vice-Rector Pantelić Babić and the host from the University of Tuzla, was attended by the representatives of the University of East Sarajevo, the University of Sarajevo, the University of Bihać, the University of Zenica, the International University of Sarajevo, the Center for Information and Recognition of Qualifications in Higher Education, as well as the Ministry of Education and Science of Tuzla Canton.
