Participation in Meetings within the WBC-RRI.NET Project

Prof. Anđela Pepić, PhD, Head of the Research Development and Support Centre of the University of Banja Luka, and Dragana Radulović, MA, Senior Associate for the University Research and Development, took part in the meetings, general assembly and evaluation workshop within the WBC-RRI.NET project.
During the events that were held on 6 and 7 December 2023, in Vienna, the progress of the University of Banja Luka regarding the implementation of project activities in the Republic of Srpska was presented with a special focus on the work of the Community for Academic Integrity of the University as an informal group of employees gathered around the idea of promoting academic integrity and ethics, as well as activities on the promotion of STEM education, and improvement of the digital repository of scientific publications of the University of Banja Luka.
In addition, joint activities were presented for the inclusion of Responsible Research and Innovation concepts in the grant calls of the Ministry of Scientific and Technological Development and Higher Education of the Republic of Srpska, and the Ministry of Economy and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Srpska, implemented in cooperation with the Cluster for strengthening research and technological development in the field of medicine and health sciences, as the partner organization on project activities in the Republic of Srpska. This was followed by a workshop on the evaluation of the implemented activities with a focus on ensuring their long-term sustainability.
It is important to note that the aforementioned events were organized as part of the implementation of the Horizon 2020 project „Embedding Responsible Research and Innovation in Western Balkan Countries: Enhancement of Self-Sustaining R&I Ecosystems (WBC-RRI.NET)“, in which the University of Banja Luka is one of the partners in the consortium.
