Meeting with the Delegation of the Republic of Turkey

On 20 December 2023, Rector of the University of Banja Luka Prof. Radoslav Gajanin, PhD, talked with the Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Banja Luka Oğuz Kılıç on strengthening the cooperation of our university with higher education institutions from Turkey.

The meeting held at the Rectorate was also an opportunity to discuss the continuation of Turkish language courses at the University of Banja Luka, as well as scholarship opportunities for researchers and students of the second and third study cycles.

As said at the meeting, the University of Banja Luka cooperates with several higher education institutions in Turkey, but there is room for additional strengthening of this cooperation.

In addition to the rector and the consul, this meeting was attended by Vice-Rector for Material and Human Resources Prof. Dalibor Kesić, PhD, Dean of the Faculty of Philology Prof. Biljana Babić, PhD, as well as the Attaché of Education at the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey to BH Faruk Berat Akçeşme, Attaché of Culture and Tourism of the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey to BH Ahmet Atabas, Yunus Emre Institute Mehmet Coordinator Akif Yaman, and Secretary at the Consulate General of the Republic of Turkey in Banja Luka Emin Mahmutović.
