The University Starts Providing Online Learning
University of Banja LukaGeneralDue to the current situation caused by the emergence of corona virus, organizational units of the University of Banja Luka will start providing online/distance learning as of 23 March 2020.
Namely, the University of Banja Luka has made preparations for the use of the Google Classroom eLearning platform. In addition to Google Classroom, Hangouts Meet is also available for distance/online learning, as well as a number of other platforms for this type of learning.
These platforms, while respecting copyright, provide students with unimpeded access to presentations used in the teaching process, completed assignments, case studies, audio and video records, and other materials necessary for the implementation of the teaching process. On the University website, there are clear instructions for using the Google Classroom platform, which you can read here.
Students can obtain all the relevant information on the teaching methods on the faculty web pages, where important information is available. There is also an opportunity for students to consult with their professors via email, among other things. Specifically, professors and assistants are available to students and they may be contacted at the e-mail address consisting of the following information: the name of the professor or assistant, and the domain of the faculty/university (e.g. name.surname@faculty.unibl.org). The directory of the University of Banja Luka is also available to students, which also contains the e-mail addresses of professors and assistants. The directory can be found here.
The decision to organize this form of teaching was made in pursuit to the Instruction of the Ministry of Scientific and Technological Development, Higher Education and Information Society of the Republic of Srpska, according to which online/distance learning is enabled.
