Construction of Memorial Temple in Honour of the Fallen Students and Employees of the University of Banja Luka Discussed
University of Banja LukaGeneralOn 3 February 2020, Rector of the University of Banja Luka Prof. Radoslav Gajanin, PhD, and his Grace Bishop Jefrem of Banja Luka Eparchy of the Serbian Orthodox Church talked about constructing a memorial temple in honour of students and employees of the University of Banja Luka, who have lost their lives in the past defensive and patriotic war.
The memorial temple will be located at the University campus, and together with the archpriest Dragan Maksimovic, Head of the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, and the deacon Radojica Zagran, his Grace Bishop Jefrem visited the site on which the memorial temple will be built. Delegation of Banja Luka Eparchy was welcomed by Rector Prof. Radoslav Gajanin, PhD, Vice Rector Goran Latinovic, PhD, Financial Director Dusko Lazic and Prof. Sasa Cvoro, PhD, from the Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy.
The meeting was continued at the Rectorate, where it was agreed that specific steps should be taken in constructing the memorial temple, including the solving of property and zoning matters, that is, collecting the relevant documentation and preparing a conceptual design.
