The Monograph „Population of the Republic of Srpska – Demographic Factors and Indicators” Promoted at Belgrade Book Fair 

The Scientific Monograph „Population of the Republic of Srpska – Demographic Factors and Indicators” by the authors Professor Drasko Marinkovic, PhD, and Aleksandar Majic, MA, was promoted on 24 October 2019 at the booth of the Republic of Srpska Representative Office in Serbia within the 64th International Belgrade Book Fair.

The monograph was presented by the reviewers: Professor Branislav Djurdjev, PhD, from Novi Sad and Professor Mirko Grcic, PhD, from Belgrade and the authors. Promotion of this significant monograph gathered a number of guests who had the opportunity to hear useful information on one of current topics in the Republic of Srpska.

With this monograph issued by the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics of the University of Banja Luka, the authors give a significant contribution to the understanding of the process of genesis and transformation of the population and to the methodology of integral study of the population of the Republic of Srpska, alike. The results achieved by the authors are of fundamental scientific importance and are directly relevant for solving specific problems and factors in the development of the RS population. This book is recommendable also due to the fact that up to date we have not had such a complete demographic analysis of the population of the Republic of Srpska, and that there are still many misconceptions in the general public and a misunderstanding of the severity of the demographic situation in the Republic of Srpska.

The scientific monograph "Population of the Republic of Srpska - Demographic Factors and Indicators" can be found at the booth of the Republic of Srpska Representative Office in Belgrade and at the booth of the Institute for Textbook Publishing and and Teaching Aids from Istocno Sarajevo at the International Book Fair, which will be open until 27 October 2019.
