University of Banja LukaGeneralOn March 27, 2019, a large number of officials gathered in order to celebrate ten years of successful work and development of the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Banja Luka.
Prof. Dr. Radoslav Gajanin, Rector of the University of Banja Luka, emphasizes on the significance of the Faculty when it comes to its contribution to the University in all activities.
“The Faculty successfully cooperates with other organizational units of the University, as well as with the institutions of the Republic of Srpska, the City of Banja Luka, political organizations, the non-governmental sector in the Republic of Srpska and the region”, said the Rector at the Formal Academy held at the amphitheater of the Faculty of Political Science.
“Students' interest in most of the study programs conducted at this faculty is satisfactory. We expect a greater promotion of the Faculties and the study programs that had lower admission rates in the previous period than the ones expected”, the Rector said, stating that the Faculty of Political Science has improved in staff in the previous period.
“In this school year, lectures in the first cycle of studies are held by lecturers who are full-time employees of the University. I believe that a larger number of professors and associates should be included in the teaching process, depending on the study program”, said the Rector at the ceremony held at the Faculty of Political Sciences.
“It is necessary to raise the level of practical teaching in all study programs. Visiting professors carry out a significant part of lecturing for the second and third cycle of studies, which gives special quality to our future masters and doctors of science”, said Rector Gajanin and pointed out that the Rector's team was always available for the management team of the Faculty, and will continue to be so.
