Ms Nikolina Garaca, representative of the Centre for Entrepreneurship and Technology Transfer of the University of Banja Luka, said that ‘the experience, knowledge, and contacts gained at the event will prove valuable not only for the Centre itself, but also for the whole of the University and all researchers’.
‘Technology transfer is a continuous, regulated, and supported process at numerous universities in Europe and worldwide. Not only does it provide benefits to these institutions, but it also improves the quality of their services and scientific research and contributes to their overall academic image. It is some of the reasons why such activities should be supported at the University of Banja Luka’, added Ms Garaca.
Among other things, the Centre provides support to innovators and young entrepreneurs in designing and developing their business ideas and organizes and coordinates the implementation of patent application, licensing, and knowledge transfer procedures between educational institutions and companies.
