Meeting of the Steering Committee of the Banorob Project held in Narvik (Norway)
University of Banja LukaGeneralIn the Norwegian city of Narvik there was a meeting held on March 20th 2015 of the Steering Committee of the International Banorob Project financed by the Government of the Kingdom of Norway (Bosnian-Norewgian research based innovation for development of new, environmental friendly, competitive robot technology for selected target groups).
During the meeting the final results of the Project were presented, and there were possibilities of follow-up activities discussed in the form of new projects prepared for the line Board for Higher Education, rESEARCH and Development of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway (HERD/ICT)
The new equipment at the Faculty of Machine Engineering, University College of Narvik (state-of-the-art five-axis processing centre) was presented to the delegation from the University of Banja Luka.
In addition, the members of the delegation had an opportunity to talk with Ms Tanja Kerezovic, a former student of the Faculty of Machine Engineering, University of Banja Luka, currently attending her master degree courses in Narvik, who participated in student exchange programme within the Project while she still was an undergraduate student in Banja Luka. The Dean of Faculty of Machine Engineering in Narvik expressed his pleasure that Ms Kerezovic was a student at their institution, pointing out that her success (best in her class) was to her own credit as much as to the institution she came from (University of Banja Luka).
