Visit of the students from Karl Franz University in Graz (Austria)
University of Banja LukaGeneralThe students, professors and teaching assistants from the Faculty of Environment, Regional Development and Education of the Karl Franz University in Graz (Austria) (Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz) visited the University of Banja Luka. This year’s study trip to Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as all the previous ones, was organized by the Institute of Geography and Regional Research, which functions within the scope of the Karl Franz University.
At the meeting with their hosts from the German Department of the Faculty of Philology, University of Banja Luka, led by Prof. Sanja Radanovic, Vice-Dean for teaching process and Head of German Department, held on May 28th 2014 at the Rectory, views were exchanged on the experiences of studying at their respective institutions.
The structural organization of the University of Banja Luka, as well as its activities regarding international cooperation, were presented by Prof. Valerija Saula, Vice-Rector for international cooperation.
After the presentation and subsequent discussion, the guests from Austria took a stroll down the alleys of the University campus and visited the Austrian library, situated at the Faculty of Philosophy. On a previous day the students from the Faculty of Philology organized a sightseeing tour of Banja Luka for their Austrian colleagues, showing them the amenities of the city.
