Kosovo and Metohija Students – Guests of the University of Banjaluka
University of Banja LukaGeneralIn the Rectorate of the University of Banja Luka, on 5 March 2014, a reception was organised for the students of the Faculty of Law, University of Pristina, temporarily located in Kosovska Mitrovica.
The students were given a welcome address by the Rector of the University of Banja Luka, Prof. Stanko Stanic, after which the Vice-rector for International Cooperation, Prof. Valerija Saula, presented the activities of the University of Banja Luka in the field of international cooperation, with a particular emphasis on the Agreements of Cooperation with the Universities in the Republic of Serbia, including the University of Pristina, temporarily located in Kosovska Mitrovica. The students were particularly interested in the opportunities for student exchange.
Fifty students from the Faculty of Law, the University of Pristina, temporarily located in Kosovska Mitrovica, accompanied by the Secretary of the Faculty of Law, Mr Zoran Vukasinovic, paid a first several-day visit to the Faculty of Law, University of Banja Luka.
The aim of the visit is to carry out the activities referred to in the Agreements of Cooperation, which were signed both at the level of the University in 2007 and at the level of the two Faculties of Law. Talking with their hosts, the students are getting acquainted with the requirements for and the content and methods of the curriculum, and particularly with the student activities at the Faculty of Law, i.e. at the University of Banja Luka. During their stay in Banja Luka, the KiM students will also visit cultural and other facilities in and in the vicinity of the city.
