Faculty of Forestry, University of Banja Luka, organizer of the next COST meeting - „STReESS” action that would be held in October 2013 at Mountain Jahorina, BH

During the participation at the meeting of the COST Action „STReESS” (FPS COST Action FP1106-Studying Tree Responses to extreme Events: a SynthesiS) in Naples, Italy, in a period 14-18. April, 2013, the University of Banja Luka (Faculty of Forestry) was granted to be a host of the next COST meeting.
Representative of our University and the only member from Bosnia and Herzegovina, professor Milan Mataruga, presented our University after which the Steering Committee of the Project unanimously decided to entrust the organization of this event to our University.
This is a great success of the Faculty of Forestry, University of Banja Luka, having in mind that representatives from 31 European countries are involved in the project activities.

The next meeting of researchers interested in monitoring of stress in plants will be held at Mountain Jahorina - Hotel „Termag”, between 14th to 18th October, 2013. More information about the project activities can be found at: http://www.cost.eu/domains_actions/fps/Actions/FP1106
