Learning objectives | ||||
The student should acquire basic knowledge of energy efficiency and energy management, as well as get acquainted with our and EU regulations in these areas. Students will be presented with current regulations in the field of energy efficiency in the Republic of Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Union. | ||||
Learning outcomes | ||||
Upon completion of the lecture, students will master the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge to understand energy management and energy efficiency and will be trained for the practical application of acquired knowledge in their professional practice. | ||||

The concept and importance of energy management and energy efficiency. Areas and ways of applying energy efficiency on the consumption side (buildings, industry, transport, communal energy, households). Cogeneration. Energy efficiency indicators. Principles of energy management. The role of energy managers. Guidelines for energy management at the local level. Regulations in the field of energy efficiency in RS, BiH and EU. ESCO EE financing models. Public awareness campaigns in the field of EE. Examples of successful practice. | ||||
