- Preparation of students for the conception and development of independent research and research projects; - Adopting a basic understanding of the role of methodology; understanding the reasons for applying consistent and structured methods; - Functional structuring of basic research and research-design approaches; - Recognition and use of specific methodological research in architecture and urbanism; understanding interdisciplinarity; adopting an initial understanding of research through the project; - Mastering the methodological procedures that precede the determination of the research topic; linguistic and logical structuring of the research topic; understanding the framework of thematic research; - Development of systematic and critical thinking and objective assessment of achieved results; practicing creative writing and presentation skills; - Structuring basic ways to refer to sources and other research; - Recognition and operational formulation of personal starting positions, resources and affinities; - Defining the structure and logical matrix of the application for the master thesis. | ||||

.- Teaching aimed at the choice of research question and research methods, and towards writing and structuring research proposals; - Defining of Master Thesis topic - which reflects the program areas of master studies curriculum and the personal interests of the student, special skills and future activities. | ||||
Teaching Methods | ||||
Classes include lectures, preparation of students for class (reading assigned texts and preparation of short written papers) and discussion about critical reviews of read texts, research questions, research methods and expected results. | ||||
