Visit by the representatives of Mendel’s university in Brno

The Vice-Rector for International and Inter-University Cooperation, Prof. Kristina Pantelic Babic, PhD, met with representatives of International Cooperation Office of Mendel's University in Brno, on 7th October 2024.

In the course of the meeting held in Rectorate of the Banja Luka University it was pointed out that the cooperation between the two universities started ten years ago in the field of forestry, but meanwhile was expanded to the level of universities by signing the Cooperation Agreement in 2020. Besides that, there is an active cooperation within Erasmus+ program of exchange since 2021, and this visit was realized through that program.

Particular point of the meeting was promotion of available possibilities within Erasmus+ program for students' exchange, for the purpose of studying as well as performing student's practice.

To that end, the delegation of Mendel's university will hold promotional events in the next two days, as follows:

• 8. October 2024 at 10.00 hrs., in the premises of the Students' Cultural Centre – promotion of available Erasmus+ scholarships for students of the Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Political Sciences and Faculty of Forestry.
• 9. October 2024 at 10.00 hrs., in the premises of Faculty of Economics – promotion of available Erasmus+ scholarships for students of the Faculty of Economics.

Mendel's university in Brno was founded in 1919. Today it has five faculties with around 10.000 students.
